We all walked into our poetry unit rather uncertain, myself included. But the fruits of our labour were amazing. Here are two of the poems our class has written.

Poem #1

Earth Day

Earth Day is here,
time to pick up litter,
Time to cheer
because Earth Day is here

Time to help....

Don't cut down trees
Save electricity
Give a hoot
Don't pollute!

Remember to...
Reduce
Reuse
Recycle

Treat the earth well
Every day is Earth day
And that's swell
